Northstar Racquet Club runs tennis and pickleball programming at Northstar Village, at 6,330 feet in the mountains above Lake Tahoe. Our sessions are built for visitors: easy to book around your plans, coached by experienced pros, and designed for every level, from first-timers to competitive players.
Whether you want a private lesson before a day on the lake, a round robin for your family or group, or a full weekend of play, we'll set it up so you just show up and play.

- Book your stay. Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe or anywhere in Northstar Village.
- Reserve your session online. Pick a lesson, private group, camp, or Signature experience. Peak summer dates (late June through early August) fill first.
- Head to the courts. Our courts are at Northstar Village, about 10 minutes from the Ritz-Carlton. Ride the gondola down to the Village or make the short drive. We'll send directions and what to bring after you book.
- Play. Equipment is available if you're traveling without your racquet or paddle.
Questions From Visiting Players
Do I need to be a Northstar homeowner to join a program?
No. Our lessons, private groups, camps, and Signature experiences are open to anyone who registers, including hotel and vacation-rental guests. General court and facility access outside of registered programs is reserved for Northstar property owners.
How far are the courts from the Ritz-Carlton?
About 10 minutes. You can take the gondola down to Northstar Village or drive. We'll send exact directions and arrival details with your booking confirmation.
I don't have my racquet or paddle with me. Can I still play?
Yes. Let us know when you book and we'll have equipment ready for you.
Can you host a private event for our group?
Yes. We host private round robins and tournaments for families, reunions, wedding weekends, and corporate groups. Email us at NorthstarRacquetClub@gmail.com with your dates and group size.
When is your season?
We run programming from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Late June through early August is our busiest stretch, so we recommend booking ahead.
